MEME OF THE WEEK

RAGE RANT OF THE WEEK
Am I the only one that uninstalls the game on a monthly basis? The rage just seems to bubble up after a few frustrating and embarrassing losses from some cheese I've never seen before. And then I rage quit and immediately uninstall the game (and battlenet too, for good measure). I fume for a few hours, maybe have some food, ask myself what the f*ck I am doing with my life, and then I come back to the computer. And then I just install the game again. I can't help it. And then I start playing again, and about a month later, I find myself in a place where I uninstall the game again. Is this behaviour normal?
Is this behavior normal?? You ... really need to ask? We 100% don't have a medical degree in psychiatry, but we can tell you that this behavior is 100% normal.
Just kidding. Even for the Dank Templars, masters of rage, a monthly uninstall of Starcraft II is a bit much. Definitely unhealthy.
We think that deep down, you already knew that. The real question is: what to do about it? Because you must do something about it. You must definitely learn how to control it. Rage is a dangerous thing, as Anakin discovered, to his demise (check out last week's rage rant of the week for the full story).
Luckily for you, we know how to deal with rage. We have the answer. We will ignore the well-documented psychiatric studies of game raging, and instead seek our knowledge from a Batman movie quote: to conquer fear, you must become fear. What does that even mean, you may ask? Good question. It means that losing all the time ain't fun. To boost your morale, you must administer some losses yourself.
And you know what? A few dirty cheeses here and there are fair game. Learn a few aggressive builds, practice the timings in the AI, and then unleash them on ladder whenever you feel you are reaching your uninstall-SC2-rage-mode.
But beware. It's all sunshine and roses when your aggressive build works, it will bring you back from the rage precipice. But if they don't work, and your aggressive builds that you worked so hard on get easily and embarrassingly shut down ... it might launch you so far beyond the precipice that you won't uninstall SC2 in your bout of rage, but might throw your computer out of the window. You have been warned. Please don't send us the bill for the new gaming pc.
As a reminder to our readers: you can send us your rage rants at thedanktemplars@gmail.com!
